Boherna Pedro clocked the fastest time at Thurles for several years in the Thurles Fresh Milk Tipperary Cup over 525 yards on Friday.
Liam Dwan’s runner flew out and made all to beat Mallory by seven lengths in 28.59sec.
Declan Byrne’s Black Tom was the only other runner to break 29 seconds in the heats when making all to score in 28.99sec.
