IRELAND’S superstar greyhound Susie Sapphire aims to take one step closer to another major success when Owen McKenna’s Irish Derby and Irish Oaks winner takes her chance in the first semi-final of the BresBet Easter Cup at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.
Susie Sapphire retains favouritism for the €25,000 event, which reaches its conclusion at the Dublin venue next week (March 12).
Meanwhile, Graham Holland’s Romeo Magico has been backed with the sponsors ahead of his second semi-final clash with kennelmates Knight Tornado and Bockos Vieira.
