Owned by Brian and Kathleen ‘Barefoot’ Murphy, the 73lb black, who had previously raced as Master Moyne had previously clocked 28.73 (-30) in the heats of a €2,000 sweepstake. The Paul Hennessy trained dog duly won the final by 12 lengths in 28.46, three spots inside the previous best, on going rated .20 slow.
There were another seven 525s on the night, the quickest of which was 29.04.
