Sidarian Blitz clocked the fastest time over 509 metres for a couple of years when successful in the Lady Lane 509er at Swindon last night.
Heather Dimmock’s runner flew out of the six box and went on to beat Ericks Gav by almost four lengths in 29.66sec, less than three lengths off Sawpit Sensation’s track record.
Paul Foster’s Snaffi Yank went fastest over 685 metres when making all in the Lady Lane Stayers Trophy to beat West City Star by a length and a half in 41.87sec.
Kevin Hutton’s Jet Stream Lilly landed Lady Lane Maiden Trophy when leading off the last turn to hold Arctic Island by almost three lengths in 41.94sec.
Hutton doubled up with his Stanton John, who got up in the very last stride in the Standard over 480 metres to deny Act Now by a short head in 28.91sec.
