Three trainers Matt Dartnall, Dave Firmager and Nick Savva dominated the heats of the 69th Two Year Old Produce Stakes over 480 metres at Swindon on Saturday.

Dartnall had three winners with Savva and Firmager having four apiece. Maggie Lucas was the only other trainer to get on the scoreboard.

Dartnall’s What Fun Jamie, bred from his old staying bitch Ballymac Pet, went quickest when making all in heat four to beat Romeo Arturo by three and a half lengths in 28.69sec.

Littermates What Fun Macey and What Fun Gracie produced strong running performances to land heats five and six in 29.10sec and 28.93sec respectively.

Romeo Storm was Firmager’s most impressive winner when giving a start and a three and a half length beating to Klockwork Khaos in heat two to clock 28.71sec.

His Fabulous Milan caused a shock in heat one when beating Derby quarter finalist Romany Rouge in 29.15sec.

Firmager’s other winners were Romeo Zulu in 28.80sec and Fabulous Expert in 28.97sec.

Westmead Phoenix was Savva’s fastest winner when he led early in heat 10 to beat Fabulous Zita by just over a length in 28.92sec.

Litter brother Westmead Rossi made all in heat seven to beat Glatton Gunner in 29.09sec. Another member of that Coolavanny Bert-Westmead Sula litter Westmead Alonso turned a first bend lead into a length and a half victory over What Fun We Had in 29.09sec in heat one.

Westmead Hunter was Savva’s other winner when coming late in heat eight to score in 29.25sec.

Maggie Lucas’s Aero Liberty was a trap to line winner of heat 11 when holding off the favourite Oscasupreme by a head in 29.12sec.
