Hove veteran Clonavaddy Rose (Hondo Black-Liaise With Lisa, Feb 11) was honoured in the recent BGOA monthly awards. Owned and trained by Doreen Walsh, the blue recently won races 199 and 201, both in A9. Rose has lost little ability with her advancing years, she peaked in A6, and has a best calculated time of 30.47. Race 199 was won in 30.95.
