With RPGTV confirmed as the sponsor for the 2018 Select Stakes on Monday July 2, Nottingham director Rachel Corden is keen to express her thanks to outgoing event sponsor, Betfred.
She said: “Betfred have been exemplary supporters of greyhound racing at Nottingham since 2006 and remain as our main signage sponsor. Despite the on-going media rights issues we continue to have a fantastic relationship with Betfred and are very grateful for their tremendous support over the last twelve years. It is always a pleasure to work with Betfred’s Steve Jones and Mark Pearson who bring energy and professionalism to any event they are involved in and we hope that our association with Betfred continues for many years to come.
“We understand that sponsorship of particular events is inevitably more difficult with the recent loss of SKY TV coverage and so we are delighted that RPGTV have stepped in to sponsor the Select Stakes this year. Nominations for the RPGTV Select Stakes 2018 close at 11am on Tuesday 19 June and the Greyhound Writers Association will meet to consider and select the field on Wednesday 20 June. The draw will be made live on RPGTV on Monday 25 June.
