As with all greyhounds sold on the bench at Greyhound Trader’s track sales, Savana Beau and Antigua Sugar are both eligible for the GAIN Greyhound Nutrition bonus on offer which equates to £10,000 (split between the owner and vendor) if a dog from the sales goes on to win any of the English Derby, English Oaks or English St Leger.
Savana Beau was the closest to the bonus ever when reaching the final of the Derby but perhaps the St Leger provides a greater opportunity for it to be claimed with the 3rd and 4th favourite both eligible.
