Bartlemylock was a shock 6-1 winner of the €1,800 Rising Unraced stakes Final over 525 yards at Youghal on Friday.
The son of Swords Prince flew out of the boxes and made every yard of the running to hold Peter Cronin’s hot favourite Mustang Ruly by a short head in 29.24sec.
The runner up will now race in the UK and has his name changed to Aayamza Seve.
Cronin went one better in the Business Scholar Southern Sprint Final over 325 yards with Dungil Rocket.
The son of Lenson Bolt benefitted from being the sole wide seed to go clear from the opening turn and beat Brogan Tic Tac by a length in 17.51sec.
