Owner Keith Elliott has been in touch regarding his Produce Stakes finalist Ballyoak Petal, who is trained by Kevin Hutton.
In an article yesterday, Jeff Sealey, who schooled four of the finalists, wasn’t sure whether Petal was among an intake from Poole who he had schooled without being aware of their racing names.
Keith was able to clarify the matter.
He said: “Ballyoak Petal didn’t go to Jeff Sealey’s. I whelped her and at 10 weeks she was sent to Poole trainer Bob Smith to be reared and schooled returning to me at 16 months.
