Lenson Panda (late Barnfield Panda) again set the standard in the Dublin Coach Juvenile Derby over 525 yards at Harold Cross on Friday.
Pat Buckley’s runner made a flying start and went on to score a seven length victory over Skywalker Archie in 28.37sec, his eightth consecutive win.
Brendan O’Shea’s Crossfield Max was soon clear in the penultimate qualifier and pulled right away to beat Melodys Speed by five lengths in 28.54sec.
Robert Guilfoyle’s Toolmaker Scot led from the opening turn in heat six and went on to beat Philadora by a length and a half in 28.79sec.
Paul Hennessy’s Jaytee Dutch came from off the pace in heat five to pick up the pace-making Lenson Santi and score by two and a half lengths in 28.67sec.
Ian Reilly’s Hee Haws Sheriff impressed in the opening heat when making all to beat Black Alder by seven lengths in 28.63sec.
Barney Mooney’s Going Better came from last to first in the second qualifier to deny Drumcrow Dino by three lengths in 28.92sec.
Peter Cronin’s Milldean Puma gave a start and a length and a half beating to Jacks A Superstar in 28.75sec.
Liam Dowling’s Anopheles came from last to first in the heat four to deny Trade Freddie by a short head in 28.85sec.
