23 paws off the ground (with thanks to trap 6 for spoiling the perfect shot!) as the marathon runners go the first bend. From L-R: Micks Little Gem (t6), Piper Arthur (t5), Sunfire Penny (t4), Burgess Honey (t3), Avastorm (t2) and winner Aayamza Breeze (t1).

After taking photos for what seems like a hundred years, Steve Nasher Nash almost achieved his perfect shot in one of the marathons on the Yarmouth supporting card. Five of the six runners were airborne at the same time, Micks Little Gem, almost was. Almost a Nasher smasher!
The boosted George Ing St.Leger was a hug success and was supported by a good quality undercard.
Mark Wallis won both marathon opens. The first went to Glassmoss Sis in 54.12 with Regency winner Aayamza Breeze clocking 53.35. The kennel also won the 659m event with No Can Boogie. Mark Wallis’s children Daniel and Emily are pictured with Glassmoss Sis. Photo: © Steve Nash
John Mullins also picked up an open race double. Swift Biscuit completed a six-timer in the fastest sprint of the year, 16.31 (pictured above), while the Dave Firmager owned Drive On Betsy won on debut. Photo: © Steve Nash

Trainer Michelle Brown might have missed out with Slippy Maggie but picked up the puppy open with Perrys Choice (Kinloch Brae-Mays Bonus, Sep 17). The brindle clocked the fastest four-bend time on the night, 27.96 (+10) Photo: © Steve Nash
