BURR FANCIED FOR ROMFORD DOUBLE

Paul Burr’s Fab Roy finally got off the mark in open class company when landing her maiden here last week.  The July 2022 daughter of King Elvis finally got to grips with the traps at the Essex venue and utilised all of her undoubted early pace to make all in 2396 on a track officially rated 10 fast.  Fab Roy lines up in the second heat of the Romford Friday Night 500 at 744pm and though this is definitely a step up in class a similar performance should once again see her making all.

Burr can double up at 819pm with his Roxys Bullet well fancied to land the opening heat of the Romford Friday Night 500 Stayers.  Bullet landed the Essex Vase here earlier this year and has numerous lines of form which should see her taking a race like this with ease with any kind of a break.

PUPS AND BRITISH BRED TAKE CENTRE STAGE AT SUNDERLAND

Tom Heilbron looks to hold the key to the first semi final of the Arena Racing Company Puppy Cup in Sunderland’s 759pm.  Heilbron is responsible for both Untold Ruble who lines up from the red jacket of trap 1 and also Madabout Peck who runs from the orange of trap 5.

Ruble was well fancied to land her heat last week but a poor start ended any serious prospects of victory from an early stage.  She dug in deep to secure a qualifying spot however and the move to trap 1 tonight could well see an improved start and an improved overall performance.

The July 2022 daughter of Droopys Sydney will have to be lively away if she’s to outshine kennel mate Madabout Peck however who scorched to victory in his heat last week by fully 5 3/4 lengths in 2675.  Well drawn to repeat the dose Peck is fancied to overcome his kennel mate and secure a place in next weeks £7500 to the winner category two final.
