A five-timer on Nottingham’s Eclipse card saw American import Kinloch Brae surge to the front of the UK sire’s table.
In a stud review written in December 2012 we stated “It is still very early in his stud career and Brae can only go from strength to strength. Could easily make top three within a couple of years, and beyond that, anything is possible.”
Sure enough, Michael Dunne’s Derby Lane Sprint Classic winner overtook the Derby winning sire Ace Hi Rumble with a month to go to claim his first sire’s title.
But there is a great three-way battle with double champion sire Droopys Scolari just one winner back in third place.
