Oxford Racing Manager Simon Pearson has been casting his eye over this 11 open race card which features two semi finals of the Bet365 Hunt Cup.

Simon said: “I thought Brave Lad trialled well and has the ability to lead up on the inside and win first time up for Kevin Hutton. It is quite a competitive race but a repeat of that trial would proably be good enough to win it.” 2-3-4

Simon said: “Getouttamyway ran a cracker here before in a fast time. He has a fabulous win record and I think he might improve with the benefit of that race.” 5-6-1

Simon said: “This could be another one for Baliff Zoroya. Her 27.48 for the shorter distance and that 29.68 at Towcester would have to make her a player. She’ll have to improve on her trapping though.” 4-3-1

Simon said: “I am a little concerned what the two will do on the run to the bend. He is seeded middle but might prefer a wider slot. That would normally present a problem for the dog on his outside, but if Mustang Ojay does another 3.90 sectional, he will be gone. 3-1-4

Simon said: “Fifty Nine should be to good for these proving she break normally. She is the former track record holder and can lead all the way.” 2-5-4

Simon said: “Probably the most competitive race on the card and almost impossible to call. If I was forced to make a selection, it would probably be Distant Piper.” 5-2-4

Simon said: “Excluding the two and the four, who I think are up against it, you could make a case for the other four. This isn’t the best draw for the five, and five, a genuine wide runner, is held by King Exra in her two runs. So for me, it is between one and three depending on who leads. I’ll just edge it to Minnie Bullet. 3-1-5

Simon said: “This looks made for Havana Lover who is the proven class in the race. She ran very well las time out and looks to be improving with every run after a lay-off. I think King Ezra will lead on the inside and Lover will take up the running later in the race. Low Pressure has the class to get a run on the rails to qualify. 6-2-1

Simon said: “This is a fabulous race  and very hard to call. There is a ton of early pace on the race and I think there could be trouble, so I’ll go for the sole wide runner Box Office Benny who could be a big price in six.” 6-2-4

Simon said: “Ballymac Conti has terrific form at Swindon and could be good enough to win this, particularly since he should lead the one to the bend on the inside. But I was very impressed with Sehnsa Creed in his maiden last time out and the six has great early pace on the outside. 2-6-4

Simon said: “This could be another one for Angie Kibble. Haverhill Lad is in fabulous form and ran so well last tiime out. I would be amazed if Droopys Ambush doesn’t run on to finish in the first three.” 4-6-1
