Liz McNair’s Fromposttopillar ran out an eventually dominant winner of the £12,500 to the winner category one Kent Plate Final at Central Park last night but the K.S.S syndicate owned star had to do it the hard way. Very slowly into stride he saw both main market rival Hopes Paddington and Arkady battling for an upfront position however as that pair tangled he began to open up along the back straight before unleashing his customary strong late finish to come home alone by 8 1/2 lengths in 3003 on a track rated 30 slow.
The victory was his third category one success having already landed the RPGTV puppy collar and the Coral Olympic at Oxford and Hove respectively.
