The 2021 BGBF British Bred Derby Final saw Fabulous Azurra lead home Signet Otis. In Tuesday night’s fastest semi final, that was the order of finish once again as the Patrick Janssens trained blue looks to add to her Empress Stakes victory earlier in the year.
In next Tuesday’s decider she will actually be taking on three litter brothers: Signet’s Otis, Denver and Goofy who landed the other semi final in a much slower 29.16. (Shockwave Onyx, who also made last year’s decider failed to qualify by half a length).
