The delayed opening of Oxford and the track renovation work at Sheffield have forced Greyhound Trader to shuffle their schedule for the coming  months.

Spokesman James Corden said ‘It is unfortunate to have to re-arrange a well organised sales calendar but things out of our hands happen and we must adapt. I’m sure when Oxford does open it will be as good as people are hoping and we are still set on hosting a sales day there as soon as we possibly can.’

“As part of the updated sales calendar, Yarmouth will be a new track on our portfolio for customers to enjoy a Greyhound Trader sales day at with big thanks to Simon Franklin for being so welcoming in short notice.

“We must thank Yarmouth for coming on board at short notice. It was a track we had always considered for a sales day and the current circumstances presented a great opportunity to explore this. With events such as the prestigious East Anglian Derby coming up shortly at the track, hopefully both vendors and buyers will support the sale in good fashion.”

NEW SALES DATES:

Yarmouth – 21st July

Sheffield – 10th August

Oxford – 6th September

Towcester – 5th October

TBC – 15th November

To cover for the loss of the Oxford sale on the original date of June 24th, Greyhound Trader will be hosting an online auction from 17-19 June with entries now being accepted via the ‘Sell” page.
