Entain are delighted to present, ahead of the TV Trophy heats this coming Saturday, the production of a new TV Trophy which will be gifted to the GBGB once their sponsorship of the competition comes to an end.
Ian Smyth, Director of Stadia for Entain said ‘We have had four great years of sponsoring one of the most iconic competitions in the sport and are delighted to be able to support the next two events at Hove this year and at Crayford in 2023.’
‘The one thing missing during our sponsorship which has delivered some fantastic finals has been the iconic trophy which appears to have been lost to the sport. We approached Mark Burridge when our sponsorship was confirmed and he has produced an exact replica of the original TV Trophy, with weight, dimensions and look exactly as per the original version. It is a stunning piece of work and we’re hugely grateful to Mark for the time and effort to deliver a trophy which we hope will stay with the sport once our sponsorship period finishes for many years.’
‘Mark has also produced a smaller replica trophy which he will present to the winner alongside the main trophy on April 9th at Hove in addition to the £15,000 first prize. There will also be the opportunity for those attending on final night to have photos taken with the iconic trophy.’
