The Irish Laurels got underway on Saturday and they were certainly spread across half of County Cork.
Half the races were won by more than five lengths including one of 13 and another by 16 lengths.
The highly rated Good Cody was the most high profile runner eliminated. Skywalker Barry and Ballymac Wild went quickest.
At Shelbourne Park, Feora Chris and Droopys Soldier were the two quickest heat winners in the second round of the Juvenile Derby.
Elsewhere there was a fastest 550 of the year for Four Winds Blow at Dundalk.
