Sheffield have cancelled their recently introduced Friday fixture with immediate effect.

Venue director Dave Perry said: “Following the latest Government restrictions and the timeline of these a decision has been taken to suspend Friday racing with immediate effect.

“With little demand from the public and having to finish early and not be able to build on it for the immediate future then we have been left with no other option.
“We will continue to race the four televised meetings as per our current weekly schedule and will re introduce Fridays when possible.”
