Only Jimmy Wright – who is on a bill of a roll at the moment – came out with any credit, with a £50 even money winner and a non-runner £50 profit.
Defeat for Southwood Lady damaged a couple of attempts at SHEFFIELD but £40 on a 7-4 winner kept Carl Perry’s new winning run in the black with a £30 profit on the night. Glyn Dobbs, should have remained ‘Hobbs’ after a -£100 return. Not that DD (that’s Darren Driver – not Dick Dastardly) has much to shout about either! -£100

Easy Stuff (R3 T5) For me this race is between Easy Stuff and Touch The Clouds. I think there could be possible crowding on the inside as Trap 4 looks to want closer to the rails and Easy Stuff should get a clean enough run! £35 win
Long Time Gone (R12 T3) I watched this run on a Thursday morning a few weeks ago. It trapped well then eased up on the run up however She looked to run well enough in her regrading trial doing a time that should see her go in A1, this race is for her taking if she doesn’t falter! £65 win.
YARMOUTH

My second and final selection is problem the strongest of the two and that goes to Fahrenheit Storm (R7 T6). I have no problem envisaging this dog doing 28.60 as he has done in the past and tonight he’s probably found the type of company he can do that in. T5 Curios Ear is the danger but I think if T6 can tuck in be hind going around the first, he’ll assert coming home. £40 win £20 double

For Dean’s first selection of the night it goes to Jura Go Sam (R2 T1). Dean said, “Only railer and looks set for a solo up the inside, seems a race full of out of form runners so hoping this pup has some scope to improve for the Rice kennel.” £50 win
The second selection is Foxy Eva (R5 T2). Dean said, “Sticking with pups who have room for improvement my second selection is Foxy Eva. Arguably unlucky last time when forced to check at the third bend when challenging for the lead. Andrew Wilson’s October 18 bitch will get loose in this grade at some point. Let it be tonight.” £50 win

Brett starts his evening off with Roxys Rosie (R3 T4). He said, “Her last 3 runs she’s been in with Ferndale Paddy who just has that bit more early and has been able to get inside her at the bend. This looks a race where she could get an uncontested lead and that should be enough.” £50 win
The second selection is another of Paul Burrs and that’s Roxys Florence (R12 T3). Brett said, “For my second selection I’m sticking with the same kennel and even the same litter, Roxys Florence. Before having an away day at Romford she was favourite here in a slightly better race than this, hopefully with a clear passage she can make amends this time.” £50 win
