Henlow are hoping to reschedule the final of the Bunny Bookmakers for next Thursday after Sunday’s decider was declared void.
The hare cable snapped at the third bend where half the field stopped chasing. One of the trio, Swift Casey then ran across the centre of the track and attempted to join the non-existent race.
Thankfully there were no injuries reported to any of the six hounds involved.
