Sunderland have confirmed that their annual Festival will go ahead as usual, despite, at this stage there being no TV deal for SKY.

It is expected that the format will be identical to last year with the Classic (450m £25,000), Grand Prix (640m £15,000), Flyer (261m £3,000) and Puppy Plate (450m £3,000).

Joe Felford from the racing office said: “We are just waiting confirmation from GBGB but I understand that we are looking at the first three Wednesdays in July with all races to be shown on RPGTV.”
