Poole trainer Simon Harms just can’t get enough of Harlow’s Wednesday night opens.
Having seen Loggies Rosie set a new 592m track record last week of 36.85 (+30) the latest visit saw both his runners win, including a £500 Cat 3 final.
First up was Loggies Ranger (3-1), getting up close home to reverse recent form with odds on Lemon Diamond in the sprint, clocking 14.80 (-5).
Mrs Roo (2-1) completed Harms’ double in the Maiden Stayers Monkey Final. Taking over at the sixth bend from fellow Poole raider Ballyoak Flower (11-10f) and drawing away to win by over six lengths, the Aug 15 daughter of Ballymac Eske and Blitz Baby clocked a calc. 37.47.
