At Dundalk, Kevin Hutton’s prolific winner Forest Natalee clocked the fastest semi final of the Open 400.
There was a particularly impressive run at Lifford from Smurfing Season whose 28.66 was easily the fastest of the year to date (TR 28.25), Coolavanny Jaffa’s 28.72 was the quickest over the standard at Thurles – an amazing run for a December pup and Wagga Sky did the year’s fastest to date at Youghal. Look out too for Drive On Mike in the unraced stake at Waterford.
Over two bends, the FOY star at Longford was Tyrur Jacob. The FOYs are coming thick and fast at Shelbourne but the nomination goes to Fast Fit Alex for the second fastest 550.
