Monmore’s Dog of the Month for August was Aghaburren Billy (Droopys Vieri-Last Song, Oct 11). Owned by Mr A J Grewcock and trained by Ken Bebbington, the remarkable veteran reeled off victories in A4, A3 and A2 as his approaches his 130th race.
Bitch of the Month for August was Derryhogan Aud (Taylors Sky-Mid Tipp Dove, Aug13) who rattled off four wins (A6, A5, A4, A3) for trainer Jenny Walters and owner Mr T Pye.
Also among the awards for a four-timer was the Plum Lego Syndicate’s Bolt On Blue (Hondo Black-Taynes Park) who rattled off three wins in S4 and an A8 for trainer Pat Curtin.
Meanwhile the Jenny Walters trained Personnel Asset passed the 100 races landmark.
