Mildenhall Stadium has been sold but will continue to operate with the same management.
Promoter Dave Coventry said: “The stadium has been sold to Dean Wood of the Spedeworth organisation but it will not become part of the Spedeworth group. The Fen Tigers will carry on doing the speedway and I will continue running the motorsport and greyhound racing.
“As far as greyhound racing is concerned, there will be no major changes. The one meeting per week model works and we may introduce Tuesdays but not on a regular basis. The big changes will come in terms of appearance with some long overdue TLC.
“The whole place will be tidied up and painted. We already have a new tannoy system and are looking at new lighting and improvements to the facilities including creating a VIP box and balcony. Beyond that it is business as usual.”
