Henlow Racing Manager Martin Race is asking for understanding from the owners whose entries who weren’t accepted for the 36 runner Maiden Derby.
He said: “We had 81 greyhounds entered. There are going to be a lot of unhappy trainers and owners. I hope they will understand. If I had a pound for each of the trainers telling me how good their greyhound is without the form on the card.
“You will see a few greyhounds with good Irish form. It’s going to be a good competition. Heat 1 has an interesting matchup.”
