The volunteers who chose to ride in aid of the Greyhound Trust raised more the £8,000 in Ride London 100 on Sunday.
Organiser Mark Burridge said; “The conditions were very testing, it rained from the start until just before the finish, all riders were saturated after just a few miles, the strong winds also making the ride a tough one. Most importantly everyone completed their respective courses, at various times throughout the day. Great spirits among the team got everyone though safe, if not 100% sound. A few sore limbs this morning! I would like to thank everyone for their fantastic support.”
The photo shows some of those who took part. Mark added: “I think Paul Millward was a bit behind us but did the tough hills and finished the course. Other team members that had gone off much earlier but left due to conditions Martyn Wiley, Carolyn Clegg and James Tate”
