The latest edition of the GBGB Calendar advertises a new event at Newcastle, the Wilf Husband Memorial 
over 480 metres.
The 18-runner event is worth £5,000 to the winner, £1,000 for the second and £500 for the remaining finalists with all heats carrying standard prize money. The heats are 10 days after the Greyhound Derby Final on Tuesday June 14 with the decider a week later.
