With the entry deadline for the Star Sports Bookmakers / TRC English Greyhound Derby having passed at 7pm this evening the news came that the magic number of 192 was reached exactly. Nathan Corden , Towcester representative said “It’s been a hectic day but I’m pleased to report that with just half an hour to go before the 7pm deadline we reached 192 entries. The racing office team will assess the entry list checking seedings / guarding’s this evening and in the morning with an announcement expected to be made on the confirmed list of runners by sponsors Star Sports at 11am.
The entry list is said to be made up of 160 UK based entry’s and 30 Irish.
