The racing office’s Matt Stagg said: “There are some decent ones among them. Kevin Boon has Headford Maurice and Sheldan, Harry Williams has entered Pond Adonis, John McLAughlan has Spanish Maiden, there are a couple of ‘Geelos’, Arthur Noodle, Trade Fudge. . .lots with decent form.”
The event gets underway over the 480 metres next Tuesday and concludes with a £10,000 first prize a fortnight later.
