Contesting the first heat of the Greene King IPA Sprint, the Paul Young trained fawn (T4 4-5f) beat Scolari Sound (T2 9-4) by three and a half lengths in 16.12 six spots inside Skate On’s previous best.

The other qualifiers went to Trapstyle Jet (T1 11-10f) and Walk The Talk (T6 4-5f).

Going for his fifth win in his last six outings, the 3-1 chance clocked an open class 16.44 for the 277m sectional and passed the 659m line in 40.78 (+15).

Fellow Henlow raider Swift Slaney (T5 4-1) won the opener in 41.27 with Office Flirt (T4 3-1) winning the toughest of the qualifiers in 41.04 with Rubys Rascal (T2 10-11f) back in fourth.
