Mark Wallis has further extended his lead in the 2015 Trainers Championship meeting. He has more than double the points of closest rival Kevin Hutton though the latter had a great night on Sunday (results are to Saturday) with a Sittingbourne four-timer and a Towcester open winner.
Wallis had three open wins at Towcester but then saw three runners go through to Monmore finals. As readers of Mark’s column will know, he places great store on getting dogs through to points rich competition finals.
