Coolavanny Grace ran out a 6-1 winner of the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy Final over 305 metres at Nottingham on Monday.

National Sprint winner Geelo Vegas went to traps the 4-6 favourite and led at the turn but seemed to falter at this point and it was left to Charlie Lister’s Coolavanny Grace to go clear and score by three quarters of a length from Cape Impact in 17.91sec.

The fastest time over the trip was set by Lister’s Sidarian Bullet, who made all to score in 17.57sec.

He Got Fame made it five wins from his last six races in the heats of the Betfred Mobile Standard over 500 metres.

Franny Lenton’s runner flew out of the one box and made all to hold Charlie Lister’s Golden Apple by just over two lengths in 29.70sec, the fastest of the night.

Alec Stone’s Alma Valentine led from start to finish to hold the late flourish of European Queen in heat two by a short head in 29.86sec.

Peter Holland’s Glencroft Bolt cut across the field at the opening turn in heat one to come home a neck in front of Downsfield Megan in 30.01sec.

Ballymac Cathal made an impressive winning debut over 480 metres in the Puppy contest.

George Power’s runner flew out of the six box and made all to hold Slick Seacat by three quarters of a length in 28.71sec.

Dave Firmager’s Fabulous Model impressed over 730 metres when leading early to slam Princely Hawk by six and a half lengths in a decent 44.57sec.
