Droopys Edge (Droopys Nidge-Droopys Loner, May 16) moved briefly out of the shadow of brother Droopys Davy to clock the fastest 540m run at Crayford on Tuesday night.

Ten days after Davy’s Kirby Memorial victory, Dean Childs’ blue fawn bitch celebrated her first race as an adult, and her six bend debut with a 33.35 (+20) six length romp.

The night’s most lucrative event went to Kid Cowboy (Taylors Sky-Move On Bell, Feb 16) who took the £750 first prize in a 540m Maiden Final.

The 23.50 A3 winner clocked 34.03 (+20) when rubber stamping heat form over Queen Borneo.

The victory extended Julie Luckhurst’s lead at the head of the open race table.
