To see Mark Wallis heading the trainers championship table might lead to an assumption that nothing much changes.

In fact, although the champion trainers was indeed already leading at the same stage last year, the table looked very different.

On March 19 2017, Mark had already sent out 257 runners and was blazing away with 359 points.

In second spot was Seamus Cahill with 149 points, followed by Paul Young, Barrie O’Sullivan, Ricky Holloway and Patrick Janssens.
