Veteran Clondoty Alex (Razldazl Jayfkay-Castlehill Alex, May 13) made it win number 15 of the year with an impressive performance at Henlow on Sunday.

The Mark Wallis trained dual ‘Cat 1’ winner beat the prolific Glenpadden Wood by four lengths in 25.68 for 428 metres.The performance of the night went to kennelmate Saleen Ash (Royal Impact-Lytoll Ash, Aug 15) who clocked the fastest time of the night when making his ‘five bend’ debut. The pup beat Drumcrow Pete in 33.52

It was a mixed night for Wallis who sent out five runners for two winners and three seconds, two of which were beaten in photo finishes.

Danny Brabon landed two of the three open winners at Central Park on Sunday, though the performance of the night came in a graded race.

The local handler sent out Angry Boy (Superior Product-Angry Bird, Sep 15) to land the first 480m open in 29.06 (N) and Good Start (Tullymurry Act-Dustbin, Nov 14) completed the 6-1 double when landing the sprint in 16.38.

The duplicated 480m open went to Insane George (Royal Impact-Belesker Kate, Jul 14) in 29.08 (N). However, the fastest time of the night, and second fastest time of the year, was recorded by Spencer Mavrias’ Shaneboy Santana (Scolari Me Daddy-Shaneboy Daisy, Jul 15) in 28.81 (+10).
