Sheffield’s Managing Director John Gilburn has confirmed that the stadium have asked to be considered as potential English Derby hosts along with Central Park and Towcester
Gilburn stated: “We have only expressed a declaration of interest. We have been in negotiations with a couple of sponsors, but to date, there is no news on these, and in any event, there is much more work to do. As the deadline was 25th November, I was left with no alternative other than to express our interest, but without a sponsor.”
