Three runners separated by a length should make next Saturday’s Jay & Kay Coach Tours Kent St.Final a poser for Crayford punters.

Missing though will be Russelena Reggie who went to traps at 4-7f in a four-runner semi final with three to qualify. Jason Bloomfield’s runner, missed his break, forced his way back into second slot with a circuit to run, only to be KO’d at the fifth bend.

Bubbly Tempest took full advantage to take the lead and hold on by half a length from Maireads Ivy who is showing signs of a return to form and is progressing nicely to defend her Boxing Day Marathon title.

The second semi went to Meadow who took up the running from early leader Gotoon Sophie and was never troubled. She held off fastest first round winner Ballybee Charlie by almost seven lengths in 44.99.

The shock of the night was the defeat of the unlucky 1-6f Razldazl Raidio in a 380mH open won by the impressive Arabian Sand in 23.36.
