With reading the news from Taunton Cricket Club who have started streaming their County Cricket Matches on YouTube would it not be beneficial for all the tracks to do the same for the Races and Trials. I accept it may conflict with the Bookmakers but the coverage need not be live but could be delayed for a while.
If the sport is to go forward then the expansion of streaming would be of help to promote racing instead of the Hunt for results or information that currently exist, you really have to be part of the sport to know where to find what you need so if one is not within the sport and only have an interest no matter how casual then these folk will not be shown this sport.

Towcester do this very well to a high standard that does not have to be achieved by the other tracks right away but the better the standard the more professional the sport would appear. Tracks do record and commentate presently so no real increased costs to bear?  As owners at Towcester it is good to watch our Greyhounds Trial and Race when it is not always possible to go along to the Track and if this could only be reciprocated across the whole of Racing would that not make the sport more accessible and enjoyable?

I know the Star have pointed out the need or the natural evolution of the Internet within the Sport so let’s get on with it.
