I think we are up against it here with the draw in red not particularly favourable’ I would have preferred two or three. Barrack Jamie is a decent A2 winner with us but that might not be enough in a very tough race.

CROOKS CRUISER (Newcastle)

Cruiser is the fastest dog at the track and is ideally drawn in trap two. He clocked a flying sectional and if he leads, I can’t imagine him being picked up. He is the second of our three bankers in my opinion.

MAC’S ON STORM (Towcester)

An absolute solid perfomer who has done everything asked of him, from all traps, and the lynchpin in the team. I wouldn’t say he is one of our two top chances, but I would be disappointed if he didn’t finish in the first three.

CHILI SQUID (Romford)

His trials so far have been tremendous. To beat Legalbeagle twice is very solid form. He looks well suited to the track and distance, probably more than any other of our runners, and I can see him running on for big points.

COOLRUSS ALPHA (Peterborough)

This is a horrendous draw in five, he really needs the inside. I f he can’t clear the runners on the inside, I wouldn’t be surprised if he drops back and tries to come through on the rail.

GEELO STORM (Sheffield)

This is another one who I originally thought was badly drawn, but it might not be so bad. He has just come back from a broken hock while running in the Derby. He has run from five and six before and should get big points.
