Crusher ran for us last year. He is very well drawn in one, is in good form, and if he traps we would be hopeful of him going very close.

SWIFT LUCIAN (Nottingham)

I think Lucian has to rate as our banker. His first trial was okay but the 28.33 next time out is more a measure of the calibre of the dog he is. I am happy with the draw and think he is the one they have to beat

BALLYMAC SHEEHY (Sheffield)

I was disappointed in his trial and he is a dog that badly needs trap one. He is an ‘all or nothing dog’. If he traps, he will take some catching, if he doesn’t, I don’t think he will score too many points.

ARDERA FOXY (Peterborough)

Foxy has come in as a replacement for Ardera Slam who would have been the first choice and she isn’t quite as good. I was impressed by the two (Swift Lucian) who looks the one to beat in here.

MILESIAN MECCA (Newcastle)

He is not without ability but he has been injured and has only just started to come back to form. He will be running on well and in my book is probably a 7-2 chance. I hope he runs well for his owner who is travelling from Scotland to see him.

FAR BANK FRANK (Towcester)

He started off as a railer and ended up as a wide. I don’t expect him to win but I would be very disappointed if he finished at the back of the field.
