The Trafalgar Cup runner-up made it four races unbeaten at London Road when leading every metre in beating kennelmates Drive On Hunter and Signet Hawk. Incredibly, they will have to repeat the feat next Friday as they are all again drawn in the same qualifier.
Fastest of the night though was Britsh bred Queen Beyonce with a 23.93 run. How connections would have loved to see the Puppy Cup as a dual distance event!
On a night of few shocks, four of the six favourites lived upto expectations with the other two going through to the 18-stage.
