Some of the best dogs in England and Ireland have already graced Towcester’s new racing circuit, but none has a better record than the Patrick Janssens trained See No Gamble (Scolari Me Daddy-Pots And Pans, Apr 13).

The Chris Allsopp bred (Irish registered) pup had a Mildenhall win and two seconds on his card when he went to traps for his Towcester debut in P6. Showing great resilience, he led close home in 28.69. He made it two from two in P5, and completed his hat-trick in P4. Win number four came in A4 meaning all four victories had been recorded with 10 spots of each other.

Racing manager Chris Page said: “It is a fantastic run for a pup when you consider the quickest 480 to date here is Vanrooney’s 28.17 in a trial. “But then I don’t think anyone has a better strike rate than Patrick; he is absolutely flying.”
