Reculver Ozzie the star of the Springbok Trials at Wimbledon yesterday when posting the fastest time.
Barry O’Sullivan’s runner recorded a slick 29.28sec in a solo trial over 480 metres hurdles.
Final Farloe was another to post a fast time. The dog, which was trained in Ireland by Pat Buckley and is now with Tony Taylor, flew over the obstacles when beating Bizzaro by almost nine lengths in a slick 29.34sec (+20).
Jaytee Seville beat Lenson Razldazl in his two dog trial to record 29.70sec, while Du Cane Road did 29.87sec.
Bubbly Zeus, the National Puppy Stake winner, clocked 28.52sec on the flat when beating former Puppy Derby winner Bubbly Beauty as he warmed up for a crack at the Racing Post Juvenile in March.
His time was eclipsed by Dave Firmager’s Romeo Big Time and Seamus Cahill’s Ballygibbon King, who both did 28.30sec in solos.
Cahill’s Southfield Jock went quickest over 273 metres when beating Droopys Odell by seven and a half lengths in 15.99sec.
