Newcastle trainer Steve Anderson has put his entire kennel strength up for sale and plans to quit graded racing.

He said: “I have 28 dogs who are all for sale on my website. Quite honestly, I have grown totally disillusioned with graded racing. There is the business of a contract to be overcome, but I don’t see that as a problem, and I plan to speak to Mark Stincer from Arc when he returns from holiday.”

A successful businessman, who owns all his runners, Anderson has enjoyed decent open race success with his ‘Bramble’ prefix.

He said: “I am not enjoying graded racing but still enjoy open racing though that side of the kennel has become quite neglected.”
