I am pleased to introduce the newly formed British Bred Greyhound Owners & Trainers Association.  Having recently spent some time as the secretary of the BGBF I had a close insight into the running of  that particular organisation.  Their primary aim is to support British Breeders directly.  The aims of BBOTA are slightly different in that I aim to promote the owning and training of British Bred greyhounds and provide initiatives that encourage such ownership and indeed the training of such greyhounds.  Supporting British breeding is in my view at the most important time in it’s history.  If the sport is to survive into the longer term future then British based owners and trainers quite simply must support British greyhound breeders as much as possible.  The newly formed BBOTA is at the moment an unfunded organisation and will be run free of charge by myself and any other like minded individuals who care to support us along the way.
For the time being the main point of contact and for BBOTA information will be via the @BBOTA__ Twitter feed though I would envisage a website being produced in the not too distant future.  I can also be contacted anytime via my mobile on 07877 393 829.
