A couple of snippets of information for trainers planning open race sorties to Monmore.
1) There are opens planned over 480 metres and 630 metres, standard and maiden for each distance, due to be staged next Thursday January 18, that are not in the current GBGB Calendar.
2) Trainers planning entries for the Joyce Lloyd Memorial Trophy – scheduled for Saturday February 17 – should note that there will be enhanced prize money for the supporting opens (£100 per event).
The feature race is worth £1,000 and trophy to the winner (£150, £100 others).
